IEC104 Gateway

The IEC104 Gateway allows the process interfacing of IEC 60870-5-101 remote terminal units to modern TCP/IP based control systems via IEC 60870-5-104 protocol. Beside redundant LAN connections it is possible to use ADSL connectins and wirless networks as GPRS or UMTS for the communication.
In the direction of the control system the IEC104 Gateway acts as a virutal RTU and takes over the time synchronisation of the remote terminal units. Manufacturer-specific protocol settings are adjusted through a user friendly web interface.
With the VPN security license all data outside the remote terminal units is completely encrypted via VPN tunnel according to IPSec standard.
